What we collect
When you place an order or create an account we collect:
- Your name, phone number, and email address.
- Your delivery address (only if you choose delivery).
- Order history and the items you've viewed or wishlisted.
- Payment confirmations from Paystack — we never see or store your card or MoMo PIN.
What we use it for
- Fulfilling and delivering your orders.
- Sending order updates by SMS (mNotify) and email (Resend).
- Recommending fragrances we think you'll like — never sold to anyone outside the company.
- Improving the site through anonymous analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics — no third-party trackers).
Who we share it with
Only the partners we need to operate: Paystack (payments), mNotify (SMS), Resend (email), and our delivery riders. They each see only what they need — riders see your name, address, and phone; payment processors see only what's needed to charge the bill.
Your rights
Email hello@perfumetheoryhouse.com and we'll:
- Send you a copy of everything we have on you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your account and the data attached to it, except records we're legally required to keep (mostly tax invoices).
Cookies
We use a single session cookie (pt-session) to keep you signed in, plus localStorage for your cart and wishlist. No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers.
Updates
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects how we handle your data, we'll email registered customers at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
